One of my favorite snacks and salad toppings. These chickpeas are crunchy, salty and a bit smokey from the paprika. They are protein packed so it is always great to have on hand for a pick me up any time of day. Add them to your salad, to your wraps or even oven toast!
Best part is, they are made in the air fryer! Fast, easy and delicious.
Ingredients
- 1 can of chickpeas drained and rinsed
- 2 teaspoons paprika
- 1 teaspoons salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
- Fresh herbs such as rosemary or thyme if you like
Preparation
Drain and rinse the chickpeas to remove excess sodium. Place in a bowl and mix in the rest of the ingredients. Air fry for 10 minutes at 375 then reduce the heat to 350 for 5 more minutes.
Depending on your airfryer you might need to leave them a bit more to get the crisp level you desire.
