The Ultimate Fall Charcuterie

The Ultimate Fall Charcuterie

A great cheese board includes more than just a variety of cheeses and fruit. For this fall version, I included two snacks making it a one stop appetizer.

You can make this for Thanksgiving and have three appetizers in one beautiful servicing board. Seasonal colors make it feel like part of your table decor.

Fall Charcuterie / Sunday table

Appetizing, warm colors, and different textures are all invited. Also, dried fruit is always a must, here I added tart dried cranberries that contrast perfectly with the sharp cheddar.

The addition of the stuffed figs is a fun grab and go bite that gets the conversation going.

  • Roasted Sweet Potatoes with maple syrup, salt and pepper
  • Blue Cheese Stuffed Figs with honey drizzle
  • Dried Cranberries
  • Sweet and Sticky Nut mix
  • Purple Grapes
  • Gouda
  • Sharp White Cheddar
  • Cranberry Goat Cheese
  • Cheddar Phyllo Sticks
  • Crunchy Crackers

Preparation

For the roasted sweet potatoes, preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Cut the sweet potato into small cubes. I used 2 cups. Season with salt and pepper and ½ cup of maple syrup. Roast in the oven for 30- 35 minutes or until fork tender.

For the figs I used pitted and stuffed them with blue cheese. Drizzle them with some local honey and into the oven 400 degrees for 10 minutes. Super easy addition to any cheese board.
