The perfect holiday drink to savor your festive weekends. Warming maple, the freshness of the rosemary and the sparkling end of the ginger beer, it's a delicious variation to your basic bourbon drink.
Ingredients
- 2 parts bourbon
- 1 part simple syrup
- 1 part lemon juice
- 3 parts ginger beer
- a spring of rosemary and a cinnamon stick for garnish
- lots of ice
For the Simple Syrup
- 1 cup of water
- 3/4 cup pure maple syrup
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 1 sprig of rosemary
- 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
Preparation
In a small saucepan add the water and maple syrup. Add the rest of the ingredients and simmer for at least 10 minutes. Remove from the heat and take out the cinnamon and rosemary.
You can use a cold drink shaker to make the drink. Enjoy!
